Overview
The Dinex Group, the management company of Chef Daniel Boulud, is looking for a Restaurant Manager with a strong wine background and knowledge. The Restaurant Manager assists with daily restaurant operations, consistently providing guests with friendly and professional service, ensuring execution is consistent in an attractive, well-maintained environment, and striving for 100% guest satisfaction. They will float during service time, observe and help the service staff, and open/close the restaurant as needed. This position also supports the Restaurant as Lead Sommelier, and assists the General Manager and Director of Operations with staff training, pre-shift meetings, and general restaurant maintenance. The Restaurant Manager should have superior French food and wine knowledge. Base pay range
$85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Responsibilities Assist with daily restaurant operations and ensure 100% guest satisfaction with friendly, professional service and consistent execution. Float during service time to observe and assist the service staff and handle opening/closing duties as needed. Support the Restaurant as Lead Sommelier, contributing to the wine program and guest service. Assist the General Manager and Director of Operations with staff training, pre-shift meetings, and general restaurant maintenance. Maintain superior knowledge of French cuisine and wine to support the restaurant team and guests.
Qualifications
Strong wine background and knowledge. Superior French food and wine knowledge.
