Seeking a skilled Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students to support K-12 learners in Denver, CO. This contract position is for the current school year and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across K-12 grade levels Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, speech therapists, and families to support student success Utilize assistive technologies and communication strategies to enhance learning Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment Qualifications and Experience: Valid state teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education or related field Experience teaching students who are deaf and hard of hearing in K-12 settings Strong knowledge of language development, audiological considerations, and educational accommodations Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) is highly desirable Proven collaboration and problem-solving skills Location: Denver, Colorado This contract role spans the full current school year and provides an excellent chance to work with a diverse student population within a committed educational community.
