Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in grades K-12 Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations Provide a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that fosters academic and social growth Qualifications: Valid Connecticut Special Education teaching certification (K-12) Experience working with students with disabilities in a K-12 setting Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and instructional strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Location:Norwich, Connecticut Two openings are available for this contract role for the current school year.
