Location: Chicago, IL | Hybrid (3 days/week on-site)

Compensation: $105,000–$115,000 base + bonus

Responsibilities

• Own daily and monthly investment-related accounting processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and P&L support
• Partner with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of transactional data
• Support monthly close cycles, audit requests, and financial analysis related to trading and investment activity
• Contribute to internal control initiatives and support automation and process improvements
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to positions, cash, and fees across systems and broker statements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or progress toward certification strongly preferred
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in financial services or public accounting environments
• Strong foundation in GAAP and financial reporting
