Bench Technician
Our client, a payment solutions company, is seeking a Bench Technician for a 12+ month contract role located in Chattanooga, TN. This role is fully onsite. Responsibilities
This is an entry-level position that tests, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment and components in a repair center environment according to established quality procedures; conducts tests to ensure that repaired products meet technical specifications. Advises product development of recurring component failures. Traces and tests components to locate defects using a variety of equipment, including standard, bench-type, automatic test equipment and nonstandard, specialized measuring instruments. Compares test results with specifications and standards; records test results and data. Growth Potential
This is a strong entry-level role within a growing product line. The team has a solid track record of converting contractors to full-time employees and promoting internally. Career paths from this role may include: Customer Support Implementation QA Basic Development Candidate Profile
No direct experience required, but a demonstrated interest in hardware, computers, or electronics is key Backgrounds in mobile device or iPad repair are a plus Ideal for candidates who enjoy building computers or working with hardware Key Skills

Preferably in school or recently completed college. Pay Rate $19.93 per hour
