Opportunity:

RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• 1:1 patient ratio

• Call requirement: one night per week and every 3rd weekend

• Weekend requirement: every third weekend

• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed

• Minimum 3 years of experience required

• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted

• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

• Required certifications: ARRT (R and VI OR R and CV)

• 2 weeks orientation (80 hours)

• Scrubs provided

• Work in two endovascular hybrid suites in the operating room

• Scrub into endovascular cases to assist surgeons

• Operate c-arm equipment in open rooms for vascular surgeons

• Run and maintain Siemens equipment during cases

• Use PACS system to pull up imaging

• Perform laser assisted procedures, angioplasty, aortography, embolization, stent placement

• Handle vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)

• Maintain sterile technique and equipment inventory

• Experience with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and c-ARM required

• Must be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team for catastrophic events

• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or 60 hours per week
