Position Summary We’re hiring a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. This role is responsible for month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and driving process improvements across a multi-entity healthcare organization. This is a remote position, with a preference that candidates reside in the Southeast to facilitate occasional travel or team collaboration when needed.
Key Responsibilities Manage the month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with GAAP Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements Analyze financial variances and identify key drivers of business performance Collaborate with operations leaders to communicate financial results and support decision-making Consolidate financials across multiple urgent care locations Monitor daily cash activity and support cash forecasting and treasury management Standardize and improve accounting workflows for scalability Assist with onboarding and financial integration of new entities Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls Leverage Sage Intacct for reporting, analysis, and automation Support external audits and tax preparation Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred Three to six years of progressive accounting experience; healthcare or multi-entity experience a plus In-depth understanding of GAAP and internal controls Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI or reporting tools Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities Experience with Sage Intacct preferred Exposure to accounting systems integration during acquisitions or growth initiatives Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Leadership potential and desire for career growth
