Job Description Salary: $16-$19per hour DOE Monroe Residential Treatment Center for eating disorders
Position requires one year of food preparation experience in a Residential or Institution setting, preferable with eating disorders. SERVESAFE a plus, but is required with 90 days. Schedule: Wednesday 12:30-6:30 PM, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6:30AM to 6:30PM

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety. Cook foodstuffs according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served as on prepared menus from Lead Dietitian. Rotate and store food supplies. Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or other cooking equipment. Apportion and serve food to facility residents, families and employees as required by dietary menu Clean and inspect galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation. Clean, cut, and cook meat, fish, poultry and vegetables. Bake breads, rolls, or other pastries. Compile and maintain records of food use and spoilage. Report information to Lead Dietitian. Maintain safety standards regarding all aspects of the kitchen. Ability to follow dietary guidelines and the exchange model (preferred)
Minimum Requirements
Position requires one year of experience in a Residential or Institution setting, preferable with eating disorders. HS/GED MS Office
