North Brunswick, NJ area

Social Studies certification
High School Special Education Teacher Multiple Disabilities Program Caseload: 7 students
Required Certifications:
Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD)
or
Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) , along with
Elementary K6 certification
Preferred Experience: Background in
Autism or Multiple Disabilities settings
Key Qualifications: Active New Jersey Special Education teaching license required (no pending licenses)
Strong knowledge of special education strategies and interventions
Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to students in self-contained and multiple disabilities classrooms
Develop and manage IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success
Monitor and document student progress, including behavior and academic goals
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
