This full-time remote position involves working 35-37.5 hours per week serving a caseload of 45-60 students across elementary through high school levels. You'll provide psychological evaluations, counseling services, and behavioral interventions through secure virtual platforms while collaborating with educational teams to support student mental health and learning needs. Our school psychologists play a crucial role in identifying and addressing barriers to academic achievement. Core Professional Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for special education eligibility and placement decisions Provide individual and group counseling services through teletherapy platforms Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans and positive behavior support strategies Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student academic and behavioral concerns Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed Provide consultation services to educational staff regarding student mental health and learning issues Student Support Services Learning disability assessments and cognitive evaluations Social-emotional screening and mental health support Behavioral analysis and intervention planning Academic performance evaluation and intervention recommendations Autism spectrum disorder assessments and programming support Attention and executive functioning evaluations Transition planning and post-secondary preparation support Required Qualifications Master's degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology Active Michigan school psychologist license or eligibility for licensure Minimum 2 years of experience providing psychological services in school settings Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and teletherapy platforms Strong knowledge of special education law and IEP processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote service delivery Preferred Qualifications Specialist (Ed.S.) or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Experience with diverse populations and multicultural assessment practices Training in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for common childhood mental health conditions Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse student populations Technology Requirements High-definition webcam and professional lighting for virtual sessions HIPAA-compliant video conferencing capabilities Reliable high-speed internet with secure connection protocols Quiet, private workspace suitable for confidential psychological services Current computer system with updated assessment software and digital tools If interested, apply here or contact: Daniela Jimenez 470-516-6256 Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
