This remote position provides 37 hours per week supporting students from preschool through high school in virtual learning environments. You'll maintain a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, utilizing advanced telepractice technology to deliver comprehensive psychological services that promote student wellbeing and academic achievement. Core Functions
Psychological Evaluation & Assessment Conduct thorough psychological evaluations using virtual assessment protocols Complete cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments remotely Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports with specific recommendations Participate actively in virtual eligibility meetings and IEP conferences Mental Health & Counseling Support Provide individual counseling sessions through secure digital platforms Facilitate therapeutic groups for students with similar mental health needs Implement evidence-based interventions for depression, anxiety, and trauma Support students with emotional and behavioral regulation challenges Educational Collaboration & Consultation Work collaboratively with virtual teaching teams and support staff Provide consultation on academic accommodations and behavioral supports Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences Support inclusive practices that enhance student engagement and success Family & Community Engagement Conduct parent consultations and family therapy sessions Provide psychoeducation and training to families on mental health topics Connect families with community resources and support services Facilitate communication between home and school teams Essential Qualifications
Professional Requirements Master's degree in School Psychology required Current Kentucky school psychologist license Minimum 2 years of educational or clinical experience Virtual service delivery experience highly valued Technology Requirements Proficient with telehealth platforms and digital assessment tools Strong technology troubleshooting and adaptation skills High-speed internet connection with reliable backup options Professional workspace ensuring confidentiality and privacy Professional Skills Expertise in psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions Strong written and oral communication abilities Cultural competence and experience with diverse populations Knowledge of special education law and compliance requirements Professional Development Opportunities
