Self-contained classrooms, K12 Compensation:
$30$40/hour, depending on experience Key Qualifications: Active
New Jersey Special Education Teaching license
required (no pending licenses)
CE/CEAS licensure may be considered; Standard license preferred
Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including behavioral challenges
Strong knowledge of special education strategies and interventions
Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to students in self-contained classrooms
Develop and manage IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Monitor and document student progress, including behavior and academic goals
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
