What You'll Actually Do

• Master Insurance Verification: Meticulously verify coverage BEFORE services are provided, prevent claim denials, and maximize revenue capture
• Excel at Financial Counseling: Explain costs, billing processes, and insurance complexities to patients in understandable terms
• Solve Billing Problems: Proactively identify and resolve insurance discrepancies and billing issues before they impact revenue
• Drive Patient Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional service during financial conversations, keeping patients happy while handling payments
• Be the Face of AFC: Greet patients with warmth and professionalism
• Own the Front Desk Flow: Process payments, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-ins efficiently
• Protect Patient Information: Maintain organized records while following HIPAA regulations

What We're Looking For

• Experience with insurance verification and medical billing (non‑negotiable)
• Ability to explain complex insurance concepts with empathy and clarity
• Highly detail‑oriented; accuracy in insurance IDs is critical
• Experience as a Medical Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or in a medical office customer service role
• Tech‑savvy with medical billing software and EMR systems
• Strong problem‑solving skills to find billing solutions for patients and the clinic
• Positive attitude under challenging financial conversations
