Grades: Kindergarten through 5th grade Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract Duration: Full School Year, starting ASAP Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop intervention plans and support strategies. Conduct assessments and develop support plans tailored to student needs. Facilitate referrals to community resources and support networks. Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with school policies. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress. Qualifications: Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) with Social Work endorsement. Experience working with children in a school setting, particularly grades K-5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively. Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism. Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and fostering a positive school climate.
