Aventino Cucina is Hiring a Sous Chef!

We are looking for a sous chef to join our growing team! Candidates should have  at least two years of experience cooking and managing in  a high-volume kitchen. Desire and ability to cook delicious food, strong knife skills, time management, and organization are all essential.  Experience with Italian cuisine, and especially pasta, is a plus, but not necessary. Experience and interest in pastry would also be great!

Aventino is a Roman-Italian restaurant that has been featured in Washingtonian Magazine's 100 best restaurants, Bethesda Magazine, and the Eater 38.  Our menu changes regularly based on the seasons, and includes a variety of classic pastas, vegetables,  meats and fish. We make most everything in house, from pasta and bread to gelati, and rely heavily on local farms to do so. Our chefs foster a  positive work environment and provide opportunities for team members to learn new skills and develop themselves as culinary professionals.
