Human Resources Manager – Construction Industry

Hybrid Flexibility (After 90days)

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to establish and lead HR function at a growing construction company. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic HR professional to build an HR department from the ground up while directly partnering with executive leadership to shape culture, processes, and long-term success.

What You’ll Do

• Lead HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with business objectives.
• Talent Management: Oversee full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
• Compliance & Operations: Ensure compliance with employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA). Administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs.
• Employee Relations: Act as a trusted resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
• Process Implementation: Establish HR systems, metrics, and best practices that drive organizational effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive HR management experience; construction industry background strongly preferred.
• Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency with HRIS/ATS, strong communication, leadership, and organizational development expertise.
