Overview A large publicly traded company is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate will be coming out of public accounting and have/be making progress towards a CPA.

Review accounting summaries prepared for new, renewal, and terminated leases to ensure proper GAAP application, including straight-line rent. Evaluate third-party purchase price allocation (PPA) reports for acquisitions to confirm accuracy and compliance with ASC 805; collaborate with preparers and internal analysts to ensure timely completion. Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K) and supporting tie-out binders; review related workpapers prepared by the Financial Reporting Accountant. Prepare quarterly non-GAAP financial statements and review selected items within supplemental and earnings materials. Partner with the Construction team to monitor major capital projects (development, redevelopment, etc.), ensuring proper accounting for cost capitalization, depreciation, and revenue recognition. Review and reconcile straight-line rent across the entire property portfolio. Review and tag new quarterly XBRL disclosures; conduct periodic reviews to maintain consistency with industry peers. Perform technical accounting research to support reporting and compliance needs. Assist with the internal controls program (SOX 404) as required. Prepare automated disclosure checklists for public filings. Supervise, coach, and mentor the Financial Reporting Accountant. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
