Description
The University of New England is seeking a CRM (Slate) Manager, Graduate Admissions to lead the daily administration and ongoing development of Technolutions Slate, the University's customer relationship management (CRM) system. This position supports the work of the Office of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment and the College of Professional Studies by ensuring that Slate is used effectively to meet enrollment goals.
This role manages admissions and recruitment workflows, event coordination, data imports, complex query building, communications, and system integrations with platforms such as Banner and Salesforce. The successful candidate will have strong experience with Slate and as strong understanding of data infrastructure, reporting tools, and system design.
This position is based on UNE's Portland campus and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement following an initial onboarding period. The anticipated schedule currently allows for up to two days per week of remote work, depending on departmental needs.

Responsibilities
Serve as the technical and functional lead within the Office of Graduate Admissions & Recruitment and the College of Professional Studies for Slate CRM, Banner, CAS services, etc. Work closely with UNE's IT office on system technology and integration, manage all data migration processes from CAS to Slate to Banner. Direct the building and maintenance of both ongoing and ad hoc data imports, including accurate mapping, deduplication of records, and automation when possible. Oversee ongoing data quality assurance; works with admissions leadership to build or enhance functionality to support associated initiatives. Assist with the implementation of automated communication plans, including template design, population segmentation, personalization, testing, deployment, as well as creation of population groups for communication campaigns. Create, edit, format, test, and launch all email and text campaigns according to the communication plans and on an ad hoc basis as needed for the Office of Graduate Admissions & Recruitment and the College of Professional Studies. Evaluate new feature releases in Slate CRM and incorporate into university systems as is deemed appropriate. Other functions and related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the university. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience in admissions or higher education management, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
Strong working knowledge of Technolutions Slate CRM. Broad and in-depth knowledge of higher education enrollment management and admissions strategies. Demonstrated experience in Admissions and/or Recruitment. Self-starter who can work both collaboratively and independently with confidentiality and discretion. Strong organizational and project management skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be flexible, adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of handling competing priorities and responsibilities simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Enthusiasm for and demonstrated commitment to supporting a diverse community. Ability to work/travel evenings and weekends as needed during peak periods of yearly admissions cycle.
