A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy within a K-12 school setting. This contract position spans the Non-School Year (NSY) and requires delivering specialized therapy services to two students, each with 3 hours of ABA therapy specified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
Implement ABA therapy based on individual IEP goals.
Provide direct support in the students special education classrooms.
Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate behavior strategies within the learning environment.
Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in accordance with program requirements.
Adapt therapy approaches dynamically to meet student needs.
Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred.
Strong knowledge of ABA techniques and individualized intervention plans.
Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Location and Schedule:
Services will be provided at two elementary schools located in Kingsport, TN, just a few miles apart.
Position requires part-time hours, approximately 12 hours per week.
School hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; therapy hours will be scheduled accordingly.
