We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction and development of new and existing Commericla and Industrial buildings in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Commercial Construction, a proven track record of managing construction projects from conception to completion, and a strong ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple stakeholders. This is a crucial role that will ensure our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, permitting, construction, and closeout.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring all costs—including materials, labor, and permits—are tracked and aligned with project goals. Proactively identify and resolve potential budget overruns.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Vet, select, and manage relationships with third-party suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors. Negotiate contracts and ensure all parties adhere to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Scheduling & Timeline Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines, ensuring all milestones are met. Identify and mitigate potential delays to keep projects on track.
  • Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders. Provide regular, detailed progress reports on project status, budget, and potential issues.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks and develop proactive strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure construction quality meets company and industry standards. Oversee the final punch list and project closeout process.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Navigate and manage the entire permitting process with local and state authorities in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • five years of progressive project management experience, within a General Contractor.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects in the Atlanta, GA market, with a strong understanding of local regulations, permitting, and building codes.
  • Exceptional skills in project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Asana).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
