RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on a 34-bed medical surgical unit (maximum capacity of 43 patients)
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• General medical surgical floor that is also stroke and neuro designated
• Work with remote telemetry equipment
• Use Meditech electronic medical records system
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary (at max capacity)
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary (at max capacity)
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIH Stroke certification and ACLS
• Must have upbeat, engaged, and compassionate personality
• Dress code requires navy scrubs
