Chesapeake Search Partners, on behalf of a Senior Living Community, is seeking a Director of Human Resources who is passionate about providing expert leadership across workforce planning, organizational development, leadership development, performance management, employee relations, succession planning, and talent management. This role is on-site five days a week in Pompton Plains, NJ.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Provide coaching and guidance to leadership on people-related matters, HR processes, employment practices, and other HR programs.
  • Lead and manage changes related to Human Capital initiatives and HR goal achievements.
  • Strengthen organizational capabilities by integrating people aspects into strategic planning, development, and performance assessments.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
  • Advise management on issues related to workplace discrimination and other relevant concerns.
  • Develop innovative ideas to improve the work environment, increase employee engagement, and enhance employee relations.

What You Will Need

  • At least 7 years of management experience in Human Resources.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing enterprise-wide projects and overseeing business/strategic process improvements.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Capital, Human Resources, or Organizational Development.
  • PHR/SPHR certification or equivalent is a plus.
