Overview

The Recruiter plays a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for Flint Community Schools. This position supports the district’s strategic goals by developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies, building strong relationships, and managing the full recruitment cycle. The Recruiter serves as a key partner to school leaders and staff, ensuring that vacancies are filled with highly qualified candidates in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, attract, and hire top talent for the district.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies aligned with district goals.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from posting to placement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with school leaders, staff, and applicants.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and district administration to ensure timely fill of vacancies.

Salary and Benefits

Salary starting at $50,760 per year; offer based on education and experience. Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Employees may be subject to a health care cost co-payment as applicable.

Education

  • Associate’s degree required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience in an HR office or similar setting with increasing responsibility.
  • Previous experience in recruitment preferred. Experience in public education or school district administration preferred.
