Overview
Business Analyst position in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) on a 12-month contract with a client in Charlotte. The role involves working as a technical product owner/business analyst to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- The position leads planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, data mapping, system analysis, test case design, and implementation planning and support in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, Architects, and IT interfacing groups.
- Serve as the facilitator between Business and IT, understanding business needs and driving project success through the full project lifecycle.
- Lead a complex project involving standing up a website with multiple interfaces and integration with external applications.
- Utilize project management skills to track dependencies, schedule tasks/stories, ensure timely delivery, and escalate roadblocks to application management when needed.
- Apply strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills in cross-functional settings.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; 4 years of related experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a technical business analyst role within a project-based agile environment.
- 5+ years in IT/software development and working with complex systems.
- 2+ years of experience with API calls and data mapping for API.
- Experience standing up a website with at least 20 pages and capabilities including user enrollment, eligibility check, login, and multiple complex API integrations.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile and user story writing.
- Ability to map data from source to target applications and understand system interactions.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies; experience with agile tools like Jira.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and communication skills.
Contract & Compensation
12-month contract; 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in Charlotte, NC. Pay range: $50-$53 per hour; negotiable based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
