Responsibilities

  • The HR Admin is responsible for aligning company objectives with employees and managers.
  • Support employee benefits coordination, LOA (leave of absence) processing and other facets of the job.
  • Be a motivated individual who thrives on meeting deadlines, attentive to detail, and committed to enhancing the employee experience.
  • Consult with managers and employees, providing HR administrative assistance.
  • Analyze trends in HR to help develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Assist in administering COBRA, LOA, FMLA, leaves, and other issues as required by regulations and legal standards.
  • Assist in benefits open enrollment on a yearly basis.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting, data entry, and other administrative responsibilities within Human Resources.
  • Document employee relations issues as needed.
  • Develop an understanding of the HR function by assisting in task priorities within an administrative capacity.
  • Work with executives and managers from different departments handling sensitive HR information (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Collaborate with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Assist with performance appraisal discussions and policy guidance interpretation.
  • Manage vendor relationships; support workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Provide guidance on personnel policies and procedures to employees and management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
  • Respond to human resources administrative inquiries; assist with payroll processing when needed.
  • Partner with the Human Resources Manager in creating and distributing internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
  • Assist in new employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition in talent management processes and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Monitor employee morale and company culture; maintain employee personnel records.
