Base pay range
$22.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with dental procedures.
• Prepare the patient for dental procedures.
• Prepare equipment and instruments for use during dental procedures.
• Follow sterilization and safety procedures while assisting in dental procedures.
• Clean, disinfect, and store equipment used during dental procedures.
• Transport equipment and supplies to and from clinic sites.

We are a mobile dental practice serving seniors on-site in their communities. We travel to senior care facilities to provide dental and hygiene services on-site at the facility. Compensation is per day, with days typically 8 or 10 hours. Arrive at the storage office by 8:00 AM and transport mobile equipment to the facility; at day’s end, return equipment to the office for sterilization. Mileage and tolls are reimbursed.

Requirements

• Must hold current x-ray certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
• Must enjoy working with elderly patients. Geriatric experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle. A standard 4-door sedan is sufficient, though SUV or crossover may be preferable.
