Nicasa Behavioral Health Services is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Human Resources Generalist to support our team in Round Lake, IL. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR operations run smoothly across the organization. The ideal candidate is experienced in human resources and payroll, excels at multitasking, and thrives in a collaborative environment where meaningful work is the priority. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff and interns Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires Build and maintain partnerships with schools to support intern recruitment Assist managers with employee relations, performance management, coaching, and terminations Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate employee records Manage HRIS data through Paylocity Support recruitment and employer branding via social media Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience preferred Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity strongly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with using social media for recruitment is a plus Benefits: Nicasa offers a robust benefits package to support the well-being of its employees. 12 paid holidays per year, including Juneteenth and two floating holidays Vacation accrual beginning at 4 hours per pay period for full-time employees 4 hours of sick time per month after 30 days of employment Bank up to 480 hours of sick time for short-term disability Health insurance (HMO, PPO, and HSA options through Blue Cross Blue Shield) Voluntary dental and vision plans Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 403(b) retirement plan through Iron Financial Employer-paid life insurance (1x salary up to $100,000) Long-term disability insurance provided after 5 years of service Eligibility for benefits begins at 30 hours per week (prorated for part-time employees) If you're looking for a meaningful career where your HR expertise can help support the mission of a community-focused organization, we encourage you to apply today.
