Senior Corporate Recruiter
LHH is seeking a seasoned Senior Recruiter to lead strategic hiring initiatives across the country for our client's organization. This role is critical to identifying, engaging, and onboarding top-tier talent in skilled trades, project management, engineering, and corporate support functions. The ideal candidate will bring deep recruiting expertise, strong industry knowledge, and a proactive approach to workforce planning. This position will also work with outside agencies to identify contract talent to support national needs. This position is direct hire and will pay between $85K and $95K for the right combination of experience and education.
Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategies
Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-impact roles across multiple locations
Build and maintain talent pipelines for key positions in construction and welding disciplines
Leverage job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks to attract qualified candidates
Conduct screening interviews and coordinate candidate assessments
Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback
Collaborate with HR and operations teams to align hiring with workforce planning goals
Track and report recruiting metrics to inform decision-making and improve processes
Represent the company at career fairs, trade events, and industry conferences
Stay current on labor market trends, union dynamics, and compliance regulations
Qualifications:
5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or skilled trades
Proven success in sourcing and hiring for technical and field-based roles
Strong understanding of employment laws and recruiting best practices
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
Familiarity with welding certifications and trade licensing requirements
Experience recruiting in union and non-union environments
