Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Engage in performance reviews and goal-setting with management.
Adapt to changing healthcare environments and patient needs.
Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care processes.
Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Experience/Qualifications Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Progressive Care Unit.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Proficiency in electronic health record systems for accurate documentation.
Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments.
Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and safety standards.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.
Ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
