ABOUT THE PROGRAM :

NORTHFIELD

Northfield is a 24/7 residential program for adults with serious mental illness. We teach life skills and build healthy habits through skill-based groups and individual interactions. Residential Counselors and our therapy cat Lucy work alongside our residents to foster understanding and acceptance of their illness, and to learn skills for healthy, independent living. Duties & Responsibilities

Provides direction and leadership within the team. Ensures clients receive services tailored to their presenting problems and treatment requests. Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as needed. Monitors client meetings, admissions, continued stays, and discharges. Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate service utilization. Oversees hiring, training, and performance management of staff. Facilitates team meetings. Participates in internal and external meetings as required. Ensures timely and compliant documentation for clients, programs, and the agency. Acts as the primary point of contact for the program and provides backup coverage. Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles, if applicable. Collaborates across teams to improve quality, workflow, and communication. Ensures timely completion of reports and chart audits. Manages insurance authorizations for services. Develops and executes marketing plans as needed. Provides on-call coverage during and after hours as assigned. Participates in committees to enhance service delivery and quality. Manages program budgets and productivity expectations. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Performs additional duties as required. Qualifications:

Education:

Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years working with the target population; 2 years supervisory experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist in CT preferred.
