About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead its people strategy, with a focus on workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, learning and development, and performance management. The successful candidate will be an executive leader of the HR team, serving as a trusted advisor to the President and senior leadership. This role requires a strategic partner who can align human capital initiatives with long-term business objectives and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. The VP of HR will be responsible for driving the company's talent strategy, including integrated talent strategies, and will champion a values-driven culture that promotes inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement. Candidates for the VP of HR position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years' of leadership experience in all HR functions, with a preference for those with a background in distribution and/or manufacturing. The role demands a self-starter with a proactive approach, capable of managing a high-performing HR team and ensuring that HR policies and practices meet all regulatory and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading HR initiatives at all organizational levels, be a true business partner to the executive team, and have strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in acquisition activities and a strategic mindset that can also address tactical and operational issues are also key requirements for this role.
