Job title

Accountant to join one of our clients in Cooper City, FL.

The ideal candidate will support financial operations by preparing reports and statements, completing bank reconciliations, and managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and more. Strong interpersonal skills are key to communicating effectively with vendors and cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities

• Operate QuickBooks to record, store, and analyze financial information
• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and databases
• Perform debit/credit entries and reconcile discrepancies
• Prepare statistical, financial, and auditing reports
• Manage cash receipts, disbursements, and bank deposits
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• Strong ability to interpret and analyze financial statements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Knowledge of GAAP
