We’re seeking a Junior Accountant to support our Finance & Accounting team. This role reports to the Controller and plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial records, monthly closings, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Post daily business transactions: journal entries for A/P, A/R, payroll, expenses
• Support Staff Accountant with reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and vendor/customer ledgers
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry, aging follow-ups, and customer/vendor communication
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including balance sheet, P&L, cash flow reports
• Support internal/external audits by collating schedules and documentation
• Assist with payroll tasks—validation, journal entries, and reporting
• Provide ad hoc support and collaborate with other departments (Operations, Purchasing)

Qualifications

• Two year degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field
• 2-5 years' relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical mindset
• Effective communication skills for internal team interactions and vendor/customer correspondence
