Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious Downtown Los Angeles full-service law firm to find an experienced
Docketing Clerk
to join their team. This role is essential for managing complex calendaring tasks and requires a candidate with a strong understanding of state and federal litigation procedures. Responsibilities
Manage and maintain firm-wide litigation calendars and deadlines using
Compulaw's Vision Docketing/Calendar software . Interpret and apply
state, federal, and appellate court rules
to ensure accurate calendaring of deadlines. Support attorneys and staff in all phases of the litigation process. Communicate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff regarding upcoming deadlines and scheduling issues. Utilize
CMS/Aderant
time accounting system to assist with workflow as needed. Prepare and distribute reports, reminders, and updates to attorneys. Perform detailed, time-sensitive work with accuracy and consistency, while identifying and resolving potential scheduling issues proactively. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 3+ years of docketing/calendar experience in a law firm environment. Demonstrated knowledge of
state and federal rules of procedure , including appellate practices. Proficiency with
Compulaw's Vision software
(required). Familiarity with
CMS/Aderant
time accounting system strongly preferred. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Required Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (unless otherwise approved by manager) Benefits

$75,000 - $95,000 (commensurate with experience) Status:
