RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend minimum expectation required
• Patient ratios: Med Surg 6:1 (occasionally 7:1), ICU/Step Down 4:1
• Float to Emergency Department as needed
• Must have ICU or Step Down/Progressive Care experience
• At least 1 travel assignment prior required
• ICU experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
• Work with Cerner EMR system
• Perform procedures including thoracentesis, ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and dressing changes
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills and outgoing personality
• Day shift staffing: 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs
• Night shift staffing: 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs

This newly opened 30-bed critical access hospital features state-of-the-art facilities including three operating rooms, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department with two trauma bays. The facility provides full-service acute care with larger, more spacious patient rooms designed for comfort. Services include outpatient wound clinic, full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and comprehensive therapy services. The hospital has received recognition as an Acute Stroke Ready hospital and holds multiple awards from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association for stroke and diabetes care excellence.
