Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend minimum requirement
• Patient ratios: Med/Surg 6:1 (occasionally 7:1), ICU/Step Down 4:1
• Must have ICU or Step Down/Progressive Care experience
• At least 1 travel assignment prior required
• ICU experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS
• Floating to Emergency Department may be required
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Work with equipment including vents, arterial lines, and central lines
• Perform typical procedures: thoracentesis, dressing changes
• Work in a 30-bed unit with 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs per shift
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills and outgoing personality

This newly opened 30-bed critical access hospital features state-of-the-art technology and spacious patient rooms designed for comfort. The facility includes three operating rooms, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department with two trauma bays. The hospital provides comprehensive outpatient services including wound clinic, full laboratory services, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and rehabilitation therapies. The facility has earned recognition as an Acute Stroke Ready hospital and received multiple awards for stroke and diabetes care excellence from national healthcare organizations.
