Staffmark is hiring an Extruder Operator in Belmont, NC! As an Extruder Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth production by setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machines. This position requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Pay & Schedule

$20-$24/hr (based on experience)

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Set up and operate extrusion machines to meet product specifications

Monitor and adjust the extrusion process to maintain consistent quality

Inspect machinery and materials regularly to detect and resolve issues

Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform routine maintenance

Maintain accurate production records and report discrepancies

Work closely with team members and other departments to meet production goals

Follow all company policies and safety standards

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in plastics manufacturing preferred

Previous experience as an Extruder Operator or in a similar role within plastics manufacturing

Strong knowledge of extrusion processes and equipment

Mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills

Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills and a strong team mindset

Willingness to work overtime as needed

Proficiency in production procedures and company policies

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills

Experience in plastics extrusion operations
