Overview
Customer service representative working in a call center environment. Handles inbound calls and some follow-up calls. Answers calls and questions on prior authorization, general questions and some confidential information. Emphasizes great customer service with high attention to detail and accurate data entry. Performance measured on quality and accuracy with call volume varying by complexity.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and some follow-up calls in a call center setting.
- Answer questions on prior authorization, general inquiries, and some confidential information.
- Enter information accurately and use multiple systems/programs to track information and communicate with customers.
Qualifications
- 1 year of call center experience within recent employment; high-volume call center experience preferred within the last 2-3 years.
- Typing at least 30 WPM.
- Computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Ability to pass required tests: Typing (30 WPM, one-space version) and Call Center - Telephone Skills (minimum 75%).
- No jumpy resumes; stable tenure in previous roles.

Pay and Benefits
- Pay range: $21.00 per hour.
