Overview

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Colorado Springs, CO. This is a 2 months contract role (with possible extension) offering an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic environment.

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Base pay range: $24.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Pay Highlights: $25/hour

Note: Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily phlebotomy activities accurately and on time.
• Collect forensic and clinical specimens skillfully and safely following established protocols.
• Verify patient demographics and ensure specimen labeling accuracy in the presence of the patient.
• Maintain required documentation and records.
• Create an atmosphere of trust, confidence, and professionalism with patients.
• Promote a positive image of Quest Diagnostics to patients, clients, and the public.
• Provide support at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Uphold all company safety standards, policies, and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 3+ years phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric & capillary).
• Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
