We offer flexible schedules: Part-Time morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend hours. You will receive a base salary paid bi-weekly plus cash tips paid out daily.

Job Summary

As a Valet Attendant, you will deliver first-class customer service to guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. You will assist arriving and departing guests by opening and closing doors, parking and securing vehicles, unloading luggage, retrieving vehicles promptly, and providing a friendly welcome to hotel guests.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent guest service and a warm, professional greeting.
  • Open doors for guests and assist with luggage as needed.
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and safe manner.
  • Assist guests with check-in/check-out processes during the valet experience.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly valet area and help with lobby flow during peak times.
  • Follow safety procedures and hotel policies at all times.

Are You The Right Fit For This Role?

  • You will work outside in all kinds of weather; rain, snow, heat, and cold do not stop parking cars.
  • You should enjoy physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, loading/unloading luggage, standing for long periods, and navigating stairs within parking garages.
  • You must be personable and comfortable talking with guests to help them through the valet check-in process.
  • Providing excellent guest service is essential.

Scheduling & Availability

  • We hire valets to start part-time with the potential to grow into full-time supervisory roles.
  • You will be assigned an initial schedule to meet hotel property needs during peak times for higher tips and fewer work hours.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a valet parking attendant, preferred.
  • Experience driving a manual transmission vehicle, preferred.
  • Proficiency in English; verbal and written.
  • Exceptional guest service skills and strong communication/interpersonal abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
  • Ability to complete and pass pre-employment background, drug, and MVR screens.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation; full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, and crouching.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally run; ability to run up and down multiple levels of stairs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
