Job Summary

Responsible for productivity, quality and service, strategic planning and continuous improvement of the phlebotomy program with strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Knows, observes, updates, and implements policies and procedures.
  • Creates and implements policies relating to Phlebotomy Services.
  • Maintain knowledge and teach the proper procedure for the collection, processing, and shipping of blood for diagnostics’ testing.
  • Responds to escalated service issues in a manner that maintains client business and build relationships.
  • Prepares for compliance audits related to mobile phlebotomy program.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's Degree Phlebotomy required or Bachelor's Degree Phlebotomy preferred
  • Licenses and Credentials: (not specified beyond education)
  • Experience: Experience in phlebotomy 3-5 years required and prior supervisory experience 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • In depth knowledge of phlebotomy regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient with statistical and computer productivity software (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated training skills.

Pay Range: $80,808.00 - $117,499.20/Annual

Grade: 8
