Golf Strength & Conditioning Specialist (Sports Science Background)
Audens Golf Performance is a high-performance training facility dedicated to helping golfers—from elite professionals to committed amateurs—maximize their potential. Location: Jacksonville, FL
Compensation: Up to $150 per session, based on experience and qualifications; incentive bonuses available. Salary range listed: $115,000–$160,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement golf-specific strength, conditioning, and mobility programs tailored to individual athletes.
- Conduct athlete assessments, including movement screenings, force plate testing, and sports science-based evaluations.
- Collaborate with golf coaches, physiotherapists, and sports scientists to integrate training into overall performance plans.
- Deliver both in-person and remote coaching sessions, ensuring athletes understand and execute programming effectively.
- Monitor, track, and adjust training plans based on performance metrics and athlete feedback.
- Educate athletes on injury prevention, recovery protocols, and long-term athletic development.
- Maintain accurate training and performance records.
Required Qualifications
- CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist – NSCA) – required.
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Exercise Science, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
- Own liability insurance (proof required).
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with athletes, preferably in golf or rotational sports.
- Proven track record in delivering measurable performance improvements.
- Strong understanding of biomechanics, periodization, and sports science principles.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Experience using technology such as Gears 3D, force plates, or motion analysis systems.
- Golf-specific training background or TPI Certification (Titleist Performance Institute) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a high-performance environment.
- Self-motivated, professional, and adaptable to athlete schedules and competition demands.
