Recruiter Trainee / Souring Specialist

You don’t need prior experience—just a passion for building relationships and a strong work ethic. As a Recruiter Trainee you will learn how to develop speed and efficiency and interface daily with internal and external teams to deliver excellence in recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Build a Talent Pipeline: Source and maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates for current and future roles in various industries.
  • Demonstrates competence of external job boards and precision sourcing of candidates
  • Demonstrates competence of internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Conduct Interviews & Assess Fit: Engage candidates via phone and in-person interviews, evaluating qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Screen & Qualify Candidates: Review resumes and interview feedback to assess and determine candidate suitability.
  • Candidate Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, answering questions and providing updates.
  • Demonstrates ability to meet performance requirements
  • Develop a solid understanding of internal Compliance and Operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in sciences, business, or related field required.
  • 1+ years of customer or sales-focused experience preferred.
  • Prior collaboration in a team-oriented environment preferred.
  • Effective professional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team or independently depending on the job responsibility being performed.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships built on Hunter’s core values
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to compliance.
  • Demonstrates a high sense of urgency and healthy appetite for competition.
  • Strong technological aptitude.
  • Ability to successfully pass Hunter’s standard post-offer employment requirements including but not limited to employment background check and drug screen.
