We're working on behalf of a client seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to support their York-based production facility. Human Resources Generalist Key Requirements:
- Minimum of three years' experience in Human Resources, ideally in manufacturing or production environments
- Solid knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO) and HR best practices
- Proven skills in managing employee relations and supporting hourly workforces
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt swiftly to changing needs
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus, but relevant experience is equally valued
- Provide daily HR support, including employee relations, policy guidance, and administrative tasks
- Act as a trusted resource for plant leadership and workers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Investigate employee concerns and handle complaints with discretion and fairness
- Administer leave programs such as FMLA and STD, and manage HRIS data and personnel files
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support performance review processes, feedback, and goal-setting initiatives
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and leadership to maintain consistent policies and practices
- Drive engagement initiatives that cultivate a supportive and inclusive company culture
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the HR team and organizational goals
- Competitive hourly wage of $35-45/hr. DOE
