Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as break rooms and conference rooms
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs
• Monitor and report any necessary repairs or maintenance needs to management
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
