Advanced Polymers Recycling is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to work directly with our COO, Steven Green. This role requires a strong, confident personality who can keep Steven on task and the ability to work autonomously. You’ll be the backbone of day-to-day operations, ensuring his schedule runs smoothly and the business stays on track.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Chief Operating Officer and maintain the efficiency of daily operations.

Advanced Polymers Recycling was founded by three longtime collaborators with decades of experience in waste, recycling, and manufacturing. We specialize in tackling the tough side of recycling—hard-to-process plastics, mixed loads, and off-spec material—while delivering cost-efficient solutions and world-class customer service. Our team believes relationships matter, which is why we pick up the phone, follow through, and bring hands-on expertise to every job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the COO’s calendar, schedule, and daily priorities
  • Coordinate and book travel arrangements (flights, hotels, ground transportation)
  • Handle data entry in our ERP system with accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor, answer, and route incoming calls and emails
  • Prepare, format, and edit reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Restock kitchen and office supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain confidential files and sensitive information with discretion
  • Track action items and deadlines to ensure timely completion
  • Assist with vendor and partner coordination when needed
  • Serve as a point of contact between the COO and internal/external stakeholders

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and discretion

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar support role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP systems is a strong plus
  • Recycling industry experience is a huge plus
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities with strong follow-through skills

Employment details

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Compensation: $27/hour + Full Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits
