Job Title: Accounting Manager | Onsite | Team of 8
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and month-end/annual closings.
- Manage and develop the accounting team, setting goals, providing mentorship, and ensuring continuous improvement.
- Perform financial variance analysis and collaborate with departments to ensure financial accuracy.
- Review and analyze account reconciliations and period-end reports.
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) and manage annual audits.
- Implement accounting policies to ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
- Lead special projects, such as system enhancements and new reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in public accounting.
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Active CPA license required.
- Strong judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
