Accounting Manager - Intercompany Emphasis (Salary Range: $110K–$130K + 10% Bonus)

LHH - Hybrid in Coppell, TX (4 days per week in office, 1 day work from home)

LHH is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a client in the logistics industry, located in Coppell, TX. This role centers on overseeing payroll and benefits accounting, with a strong emphasis on intercompany allocations and financial operations.

In addition to holding a BS or MS in Accounting, the ideal candidate will bring at least four years of corporate accounting experience and two years of supervisory background. Intercompany and allocation expertise is essential, while payroll and benefits knowledge is preferred. A CPA is a plus. Responsibilities

  • Lead payroll and benefits accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and allocations across multiple entities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering development and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

Client Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting is required; CPA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of four years of corporate accounting experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong background in intercompany accounting and allocation processes.
  • Familiarity with payroll and benefits accounting is advantageous.
