Overview

An established company is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee corporate accounting operations and lead a small team. This role is responsible for the general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP, while also mentoring staff and driving process improvements.

Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions including AP/AR, billing, payroll, reconciliations, and collections.
• Oversee the month-end close and preparation of financial statements.
• Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain effective internal controls.
• Partner with leadership to provide accurate financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or Master’s preferred.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full-time, on-site in Brentwood, TN.
