Overview

Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Growing construction services company is looking for an Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller to lead their day-to-day accounting operations and drive accuracy in financial reporting. This is a hands-on role with exposure to leadership, where you’ll manage the general ledger, oversee reconciliations, and own the monthly and year-end close process.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily accounting functions for a dynamic construction business
• Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Prepare financial statements and tax filings
• Drive month-end and year-end close processes
• Strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting procedures
• Partner with auditors and support process improvements

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of accounting experience (oil & gas services or construction industry a plus)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, and close processes
• Experience preparing financial statements
• Advanced Excel skills (vLookups, pivot tables)
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance preferred
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow into a leadership role

Compensation

Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Compensation: $95-$120K + bonus
